The AWARDS of 26th Economic Forum in Krynica have been given

 

During the first day of the XXVI Economic Forum in Krynica, as every year, the awards were given in four categories.

The Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban was awarded the Man of the Year Award.
– I could name a number of excellent candidates for this award. It’s a great renaissance and step forward. With great respect, I appreciate the award and I accept it – Victor Orban said receiving the award. He also reiterated his message of building a national identity as the right way for the development of common Europe. – I can see recognition for that matter in this award – he added.

The Award for the Company of the Year was received by P4, the operator of the Play network, that have been on the Polish market since 2007.
– I would like to dedicate this award to the millions of customers who have chosen our services and eight thousand employees who offer our services every day. The impossible becomes possible and Play is an excellent example of this. We have managed to become the market leader – Jørgen Bang-Jensen, the President of P4 said.

The Award in the category of New Culture of New Europe was received Professor Yaroslav Hrycak, a Ukrainian historian, head of the history of Ukraine at the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv.
– We have one enemy in front of us- it is Russia and we have one enemy in the back of us – and it is corruption. We will not win quickly, since this is a hard war, but we are confident that we will win. Thank you for all that Poland has done, for all it is doing and for all I hope Poland will be doing in the future helping our country- said Yaroslav Hrycak.

The winner added that he would like to give part of the award to a young, Polish journalist – Pawe Pieniążek, who from the beginning of the war in Donbas, has been covering the war, risking his own life.

The Special Award of the Economic Forum has been given for the first time this year and was given to SESCOM SA from Gdansk. The Jury decided to honor the company that has evolved from the local business into an international market leader.
– It is highly appreciated that during such an event, over which the strategic macroeconomic issues are discusses, the small and medium size company that has grown out of family business gets noticed.
The small companies send out every day, thousands of containers of their goods to all the continents and their employees provide services all over the world – said Slawomir Halbryt, the President of SESCOM SA. The representative of SESCOM SA also congratulated the organizers of the Forum on the idea of ​​rewarding small entrepreneurs, who in the challenging era of globalization need to somehow compete with the biggest market players.
