It is with great sorrow that we inform that Professor Frank Kujawinski, specialist in Polish and French literature, poet, translator and mentor, passed away on November 1, 2008 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

It is the family’s request that, instead of flowers, donations are made to the Frank Kujawinski Fund at Loyola University

Dr. Frank Kujawinski had a vision to create a Polish Studies Program at Loyola University. He saw his dream come true and we are forever grateful for his tireless efforts.
