After 2 years spend in The Fountains Country Club and a very successful 2011 and 2012 tournaments, the decision to stay in West Palm Beach was very obvious. The Fountains Country Club turned out to be the kind of place all of us have been looking for for many years. Friendly, seemingly easy, yet very challenging courses and full of positive atmosphere on and off the golf course is what we all loved. As every year in the past, next tournament will be no different. We already have confirmation from very prominent celebrities to show up at Polonia Open by Zywiec. We also expect to host the event with many known people from the world of polish and Polonia sports, cultural life, politics, business, movies and entertainment.
The Tournament may be played on all 3 courses of the Fountains Country Club: „South Course”, „West Course” and „North Course”. The players will be competing in both Open Gross and Net as well as Mid Amator (35+) . Thanks to this system all players from all over the world will be able to compete as equals. (Check. Eligibility and Format). Start as always according to the tee times alternating every day. As it was in 2012, we WILL NOT IMPLEMENT 'THE CUT” for the final round. All players will be playing on Saturday. The winners in all categories, Gross, Net and Mid Amator aside from the winning prizes will also receive the prestigious Championship Jackets as Polonia Open World Champions.
We strongly suggest not to wait and sign up for the tournament as soon as possible. We expect the 2013 tournament to be one with the record attendance. The tournament committee may set a limit of entries. Since the tournament was moved towards the first week of March, we expect that it will be easier to book your Airlines and Hotels. The Tournament Committee is also negotiating housing on the grounds of the Fountains Country Club. Please check the Web Site daily for information.
