“Even though each year we consider different options and ideas for a summer event, we always choose the boat cruise due to the large interest by members and guests – this year again we had more participants than previously! Clearly, each year the event is different and unique in its own way. The PACC keeps growing and evolving, as does the downtown area and the city’s skyline, and so the annual cruise provides the ultimate setting to observe these changes,” explains the PACC President, Henry Kazmierczak.
“Organizationally, it’s quite an effort,” adds Monika Grudek who chairs the PACC’s Event Planning Committee. “But the outing is popular, we always have sponsor support, and volunteer involvement. And this year, the 50th Anniversary Air & Water Show was helpful in that people focused on having fun while savoring the amazing display in the sky.”
