Northwestern to Support Wounded Warrior Project on Nov. 16

EVANSTON, Ill. — On Nov. 16, Northwestern Football will take to Ryan Field wearing custom Under Armour uniforms to raise awareness and support for Wounded Warrior Project, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor and empower our nation’s wounded warriors.

Under Armour will be replacing the players’ last names on the back of each jersey with one of the seven core value embellishments: DUTY, HONOR COURAGE, COMMITMENT, INTEGRITY, COUNTRY and SERVICE.

Following the game, the jerseys will be auctioned off on NUsports.com with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting WWP.

Northwestern vs. Michigan will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT in Evanston. Limited tickets remain available on NUPurplePricing.com or by contacting the Northwestern Athletics ticket office at 888-GO-PURPLE.

Fans can visit UA.com or a Northwestern campus bookstore to purchase their own fan gear and a percentage of the proceeds will support WWP. To learn more about how you can support the Wounded Warrior Project or the UA Freedom initiative, visit UA.com/Freedom or WoundedWarriorProject.org.
