New life in Leipzig

It is estimated that Germany’s eastern city of Leipzig is currently expecting approximately 12,000 Poles to arrive and take up jobs in the future, reports TVN.

Quoting from German paper ‘Deutsche Welle’, the station states that by 2030 the city and its surrounding areas will require a total of 87,000 additional workers to take up positions ranging from engineers and developers to business managers.

A campaign is currently being run along the A2 motorway – which links Warsaw to Berlin – appealing to Poles to consider the move.
