OCTOBER-19 , 2016 (BOCA RATON, FL) – Junior Achievement of South Florida’s Light Up The Night event on August 24, 2016, lavished more than 200 attendees with cigars, swag bags, and fabulous food at Prime Cigar & Wine Bar in Boca Raton to support the organization as part of the Boca Chamber’s Festival Days.
The evening was generously supported by numerous sponsors including Churchill Sponsor: International Materials, Inc; Belicoso Sponsors: Altadis USA, ECJ Luxe, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek and Breakthru Beverage; Robusto Sponsors: Ulysse Nardin, Fort Lauderdale Collection and MidNight Express; Corona Sponsors: AHEPA and Integrated Building Technologies and Big Stick Sponsors: Comerica Bank and Loma Companies.
Attendees were greeted by the ’43 MidNight Express Ulysse Nardin Boat with Quad Marine 7 Motors plus a line-up of exotic cars including a Ferrari Speciale, Lamborghini Aventador and a Porsche GT3RS from Fort Lauderdale Collection South along with Ulysse Nardin and U Boat Watches from ECJ Luxe. Guests enjoyed Montecristo Cigars, NYY Steak Prime Beef Sliders and Crab Cakes along with Fresh Harvest Beef Short Rib Macaroni & Cheese, Caribbean Jerk Chicken Salad and Strawberry Crème Puffs. Beverages were supplied by Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey, Stoli Elit, Voss Water, Hess Chardonnay, and Freakshow Cabernet. Attendees mixed and mingled while listening to DJ1Tre Michael Marino. Media partners BYL Network / WBTV, CBS12, Simply the Best, iHeartRadio were also in attendance to capture the excitement.
While networking with business professionals from Broward and Palm Beach Counties, attendees also participated in a silent auction featuring getaways to Bluegreen Vacation Resorts and Wyndham at Deerfield Beach; golf outings at Banyan Cay Golf Club, Boca Lago Country Club, Deer Creek Golf Club, IBIS, Jonathan Landings, Okeeheelee Golf Club, Via Mizner Country Club and gift certificates to Bike Cruz, Blue Martini, Busy Body Gyms, The Capital Grille, Deerfield Beach Café, Flashback Diner, Grand Lux Café, Hugh’s Catering, Max’s Grille, New York Prime, Oceans 234, Rocco’s Tacos, Total Wine & More, and Yard House. In addition to the silent auction, there was also a live auction for a Ulysse Nardin MidNight Express Watch and a captained lunch cruise for 8 on the MidNight Express Ulysse Nardin Boat. This magnificent item went for over $14,000!

Through ticket sales, donations, and auction items, the event raised almost $40,000, which will directly benefit local programs focusing on financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship.
