ICYMI: Kirk Honors 9/11 Victims and Heroes at National Guard Deployment

The 710th Area Support Medical Company, based in North Riverside, Illinois, will give medical support for Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. The deployment came on a day the United States was remembering those who lost their lives during the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Towers 15 years ago.
“On a day like today we know exactly why these young Americans are volunteering. They’re going off to make sure we’re safer as a country. That we never ever lose two-three thousand Americans in one day,” said Senator Kirk.
